Ban MANIS (SWEET BUN)

Assalamualaikum. It has ben long time I don't update my recipe blog. Recently I tried making sweet bun using recepi from Resepi Noraini Blog and I'm really happy for the result. Although first time making the bread using breadmaker, I successfully made the Sweet Bun. Thanks Pn Noraini for sharing the recipe.

Satukan tepung, gula, garam, susu tepung, bread improver dan yis. Gaul rata. 2. Buatkan lubang di tengah dan tuangkan telur dan air. Gaul hingga menjadi doh yang kasar. 3. Masukkan shortening dan gaul/pukul lagi hingga menjadi doh yang lembut dan elastik. Jika guna mesin 10- 15 minit. Pakai tangan 20 minit. Doh yang cukup elok diuli boleh ditarik nipis seperti roti canai. 4. Masukkan dalam bekas besar dan biarkan ia mengembang selama 45 minit dan naik 2 kali ganda. 5. Tumbuk doh bagi membuang anginnya dan uli sebentar ke bentuk asal. 6. Timbang doh seberat 60 gm dan bentukkan. Boleh juga diletakkan inti di tengahnya. 7. Susun dalam dulang pembakar dan biarkan ia naik 30 minit lagi . Masa bergantung kepada suhu bilik. Ia perlukan suhu 35 - 40 darjah celcius untuk naik dengan elok. 8. Gliskan dengan campuran telur dan air susu . 9. Bakar pada suhu 200 darjah celcius selama 20 minit hingga masak.

Red velvet cake ( new recipe)

I have tried this recipe and I like it so much. Really moist and yummy.

Red Velvet Recipe
Ingredients

2 cups all purpose flour 1 teaspoon of baking soda 1 teaspoon of baking powder 1 teaspoon of salt 2 Tablespoon of unsweetened, cocoa powder 2 cups sugar 1 cup vegetable oil 2 eggs 1 cup buttermilk 2 teaspoon of vanilla 1-2 oz. red food coloring 1 teaspoon of white distilled vinegar 1/2 cup of prepared plain hot coffee (don’t skip this ingredient)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 325.

2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cocoa powder and salt. Set aside.

3. In a large bowl, combine the sugar and vegetable oil.

4. Mix in the eggs, buttermilk, vanilla and red food coloring until combined.

5. Stir in the coffee and white vinegar.

6. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients a little at time, mixing after each addition, just until combined.

7. Generously grease and flour two round cake pans with crisco and flour.

8. Pour the batter evenly into each pan.

9. Bake in the middle rack for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Do not over bake as cake will continue to cook as it cools.

10. Let cool on a cooling rack until the pan are warm to the touch.

11. Slide a knife or offset spatula around the inside of the pans to loosen the cake from the pan.

12. Remove the cakes from the pan and let them cool.

13. Frost the cake with cream cheese frosting when the cakes

Homemade Nutella.

My first try making homemade nutella. Really yummy and easy to make it. I got the recepi from this blog-theeccentriccook.blogspot.com/2011/07/homemade-nutella.html. Ingredients.: 200g.ae hazelnut, 225g dark chocolate and 1 can condensed milk. (susu pekat manis) . Hazelnut-need to be roasted and blended. Then melt choc, add milk and lastly add blended hazelnut. Let cool.You can put in the bottle.

Colourful swiss roll cake

This is my first time making swiss roll. After googling and reading few cake book I decided to make this cake for buka puasa. I chose pink,green and yellow colors to make it more tempting to eat especially my kids. The filling I used strawberry jam. Really happy with my first attempt result. Will make different types of swiss roll soon.

Apam Dot dot

Bahan-bahan; 3 biji telur sejuk-dr peti ais
280 gm tepung superfine
250 gm gula halus
170 gm susu segar
.2 sudu teh baking powder
1 sudu kecil ovalette
.filling-blueberry / kaya @
ape2 ikut citarasa
Pewarna
1. Masukkan semua bahan ke dalam mangkuk mixer dan pukul dengan kelajuan maksima
6-8 minit sampai kembang.
2. Bahagikan adunan kepada beberapa bahagian dan titiskan
pewarna
3. Masukkan setiap warna ke dalam piping bag @ plastik bersih
4. Picitkan adunan ke dalam mangkuk kertas-
5.Letakkan filling secukupnya-
6. Picit lagi adunan yang sama @
berlainan warna sehingga 3/4 penuh . Kemudian dot-dotkan dengan warna pilihan. Kukus 10-15 minit dgn api sederhana. Diambil dari buku Joy of Baking. Resepi asal- coconut blossom.

Bluberry Cheese Tart

Tart Casing Recipe:

250g butter

125g icing sugar

1 egg

1/2 tsp vanilla essence

440g sufer fine flour

Beat butter and icing sugar till fluffy, add essence vanilla ,add egg. Beat slowly. Then add flour. Press dough into tart mould and prick with fork and bake for 10-15 minutes.

Filling recipe:

250g cream cheese

60g butter

60g sugar

1 egg

Beat all ingredients until smooth and pipe on tart casing then pipe blueberry topping.

Bake for another 10 minutes.

Corn Pudding (Puding Jagung)

I love to make this pudding because I love the yummy corn taste. The recipe is so easy.

Corn pudding recipe:

1 mug custard flour

1 mug fresh milk or coconut milk

2.5 mugs water

3/4 mug sugar – you can adjust to suite your taste

1/2 tsp salt.

1 tin sweet corn

Steps:

mix custard flour, coconut milk, water, sugar, salt  in a pot and cook with low heat until well mixed. Then add sweet corn. cook until you can see the mixture become shiny and thick and then turn off the gas.

Then put in pudding mould and put in the fridge. The pudding is best to be eaten after you take out from the fridge. Yummy.
